first birthday in school(: sweet 16. nothing special, but random people wishing me in the library and stuff was sweet. and so was the super duper sweet cupcake which anne bought, but calvin carried, i think. lol. but thanks for all the wall posts and smses(((:
and and and! i got like 90 for my sales pitch re-write! freaking happy, considering the fact i got a measly 74 the first time. and 93 for the letter is awesome too. yay me :D
dance exchange yesterday was intense. im sore all over now. but it was really really fun. 5 classes - contemp, ballet, chinese contemp, jazz and hiphop. i guess scdance really was good for me, defined me as the dancer i am now. omg! there was this freaking good korean girl named sienna and she was really cool. could do penche and stuff. and her friends were breakers! ahhhhhh :D but i still heart biru's dancing.
yup. dinner last night plus gloves <3 laughed so hard my head hurt.

school has basically been a whirlwind and a blur. no point talking about that, except that i hope i get into a tuesday dance rehearsal so that i can do touch rugby on wednesday. hehe(:

i have noticed that weird things seem to happen when you attempt to clear your room, which is what i've been doing. attempting to clear my room, i mean.
firstly. the parents start to nag. everyday. every five minutes. its like their life depends on the room being cleared. why do they care whether their kid's room is neat and tidy? it's not like its their room.
second. you find stuff. like i found 50 dollars worth of kino vouchers. and this is the best part. they're good till the end of the year :D
third. you find stuff. missing. like wth. i found out that i have a pair of jeans missing. vanished. poof. and they were a good pair too. hurr.
and fourth. even though the room is noticeably neater and emptier, especially on the table and bookshelves, the floor somehow, becomes more cluttered.
now, isnt that weird?
anyway, i found new songs and new artistes to listen to. yay me(:

i just wanted to say that i think my livejournal is getting quite pampered. i've been giving it alot of attention these past few days. and not to mention, i indulged on a tagboard and gave it to my livejournal. it can be found on the left, under the links. frankly, i gave the tagboard to my livejournal because i know some people hate the human-identification thing when they comment, but im just going to let my livejournal think i that im just pampering it(:
my parents came back from newyork today. they were supposed to land at 630 in the morning. but my dad messaged me the night before, saying that they would be delayed by min 4 hours. so, i was REALLY hoping that they come home at 1-ish and take me out for lunch! but they decide to come home at oh, i don't know, 530? that's almost 12 hours difference! turns out they got delayed in frankfurt for 7 hours, and THEN got diverted to bangkok. w.o.w. imagine seven hours in an airport. -shudders.
and i got another blister under my big toe. but its totally worth it, seeing that i got it from ryan's class yesterday (monday). i really wonder why so many of the urban mixers go to his class. clarice and her friend showed up! totally cool and unexpected(: now i just need to figure out how to take the bus back from the place without getting lost OR getting chased off the bus by the driver. malu!

i am currently addicted to the P.S I Love You soundtrack, as well as Sarah Mclachlan and James Blunt. and there's a whole load of stuff in my 'i wish i had/hadn't done' list. i wonder how i'm going to get back to the school mode again. i've realised that i have just wasted this whole year by doing random, retarded stuff, and hardly anything productive. sigh.
and i think, as much as i enjoy the whole not studying and going out gig, i miss going to school.
which is why going back yesterday was fun. my ahboy and chuch are the next vice/head for next year's prefectorial board! like awesomezxzxzxzxz. heehee. and I WILL NOT FORGET THE STEPS KELLIE TAUGHT US YESTERDAY. yay me(:

yesterday i dragged my butt down to o school for ryan's lyrical class (((((((((((((: it was everything i had expected it to be, just like the few mondays when he came to sc, just that the studio was, well, smaller. heh. and they use like the ezlink system to pay for class, which was quite cool. but the only thing bad about class on mondays is that i cant catch so you think you can dance ):

im still dont know whether to go for tech class on wednesday. the people scare me :/ heh heh.
and prelims suck to the max, or as sub says, dy/dx<0! because! yesterday mrs low gave them a holiday for all the olvl and prizes and stuff, AND WE COULDNT GO OUT COS THEY HAD TO STUDY. so nonsense. but i think i shall go shopping today.

monday, i WALKED to school after picking up hciso tickets from kenneth. it took me about an hour. at least now i can say i've walked to school, because woodlands is just too far to get to by foot. it takes more than an hour by mrt. -.-
tuesday was quite nice. john ditched me for his grandmother in the afternoon though. but raffles city for dinner + talk and victoria concert hall for hciso. they played serenade! it was REALLLLLYY nice. kind of different. it was faster, but it had more layers, which made it cooler. and i liked the last part of the last movement. :D and i always get a kick out of making fun of the conductor. oops :x
yesterday was funn. woke up at 9 and got to school at 1120 for mass recess. THEY WERE HAVING RACIAL HARMONY CELEBRATIONS! and they were wearing saris and sarongs and what have you not. of course, shirts and shorts are the traditional costumes for the karina people, so naturally i turned up in those :D so after prom rehearsal, i decided to crash ce and emath. just that ms beh, being her normal jing jing ji jiao self, 'took back' the ce period for amath. alamak! but class was quite empty cos people ponned school and mel had sore eye and eryn and deb were/are at hwachong.
met up with kellie at her place at 530. she had persuaded me to join her tech class. it was fun. havent danced in a long time, and now im aching like crap. im walking funnily cos my inner thighs are killing me. the people kind of intimidate me though. shrugs. floor was too slippery for ballet shoes. I WANT FOOT THONGS! i think they are the ultimate!
today was boring. watched i am legend and was half way through p.s. i love you before i had to leave my comfortable sofa and go for tll. heh.
i think i shall go upload photos onto facebook now. and i will/shall/MUST call o school and la dance connections tmrw. ugh.

last day of sc was on friday, but it seemed so long ago, and quite surreal. tmrw will be interesting :/
anyway, scdance concert 08 was a blast! again, thanks for everything. the memories, the pictures, THE PRESENTS. im really glad saturday was full house. ohhh, and mrs chan gave us an issue of a super freaking cool (but quite expensive) dance mag((((((: and my juniors are so nice! like really really. i guess we just didnt have the chance to know each other that well. shriugs.
camwhoring week coincided with my last week, which is perfectly fine by me. now i have like 10 (or more!) emails a day from facebook, saying someone has tagged me in a photo :D ahhh, but thanks for the big big big dog (jan! she's sitting in my living room so that everyone can see her), patchy (guan! happy confirmation, is that what they call it? patchy's really cute!), spongebob balloon from coolbob and mel! and of course the other letters from everyone and THE BOARD! -(sad/happy/warm feeling)sigh. and teachers gave me books. heehee. i liked the way mr jo's present was wrapped. and, my muscles hurt-ed on sat from lugging the stuff home. oh, and last bus ride and cozy corner with bi((: ohh, and chuch, your one litre of tears and flowers were lovelyyyy(:
but, moving on, i think sas's uniform shop is way cooler than shanghai tailor (who sells sc uniform?) or bibi and baba. heh heh. cos its like in a mini clothes department store in holland v, which actually sells not-bad clothes. heehee.

haha. i wanted to do pole dancing at jitterbugs. NO, NOT THE SEXY/SCANTY/SLUTTY KIND. but the exercise one, with all the freaking cool tricks. but then it said that minimum age was 18 -.- but the funny thing was, there was pole dancing for kids age 7-12. so, why aren't there any classes for those 13-17?! and if a 12 year old kid really liked pole dancing, how would she continue pole dancing if there's no class for her! tsk.
im not sure about ballet. cos though the technique and stuff is really good, i need to stop going on pointe for awhile. and, i dont know any good ballet schools, besides sba and dance spectrum and crestar. but, what i really want is for miss ong to come back and teach):

i really want to watch tv now! but since my brother got yelled at for not doing his holiday homework, it is really not wise to turn the tv on, since he is supposed to be doing his project and not watching tv, as well as the fact that my parents condemn tv on the weekdays. unless of course it's a friday or its parental guidance or so you think you can dance or american idol (when it was still showing). i tried watching dirty sexy money yesterday, but my dad promptly switched the tv off. so yeah.
omg. let me complain about some person who has some entrepreneur thing every monday. BECAUSE OF HIS ENTREPRENEUR THING, he had a CHEM TEST today. and because of that chem test, i couldnt pass him his tickets, and i didnt get my 30 dollars back. HURRRRR. and then he comes telling me that i could've had lunch and done my compre with him. aiyoooooooo. but, then i realised, it was my fault cos i couldnt be bothered to wait another half an hour. hahhahahahaha :D
